Knowing Everything by knowing nothing. A consolidation of a week’s worth of thoughts.

If your God has become a predictable God, that is not your God. You have become the God of God. You have called God predictable because in your eyes, it is comfortable to say so. But we have forgotten about the mystery of God and the mystics that he reveals to us. God is not defined by you. God defines you. 

There is a constant battle between the intellect and what God desires. The intellect wants to know all the answers to every question. But God reveals his mystics. And when he does, humans don’t want to say it’s from God. They have been comfortable knowing all the answers and being content with their knowledge of doctrines and theology. But what they’re really doing is calling the mystics of God heresy or the works of Satan. Have we forgotten what the Pharisees said to Jesus when Jesus performed the mystics? When Jesus healed, even the Pharisees did not respond with Godly wisdom. They called it the acts of Satan because they were comfortable. They had defined God and not let God define them.

God offers us the opportunity to rejoice in the mystery of who He is. We can either worship Him or call His acts the works of the devil. This is the test of our trust in God.
